Brief Abstract Summary
Most of the coronae on Venus are manifestation of the later stage of the evolution of mantle diapirs when they acquired negative buoyancy. The vast majority of these coronae are spatially associated with groove belts and characterize later episodes of the tectonic regime of resurfacing.
